Finally the 5th and last red bomb in 2007 - Navin and Angeline's wedding @ Pan Pacific on 29th Decemeber 2007.

My dear was the brother again and this time we left the hotel even later cos we helped to count the ang baos the couple received...

Merry Xmas, everyone!

I know I need to do work but just too sianz to do anything on public holiday. haha... I know it's excuse. Prob will start doing after I finish blogging. Had steamboat for dinner with Kate, Mandy, Brandon, dear and my parents on Xmas eve. Played Wii and MJ after that. For details, pls see "Relaxing Palace".


Oh, b4 dinner, went to choose all my gowns. Spent 3 hrs there and finally settled everything... The dates for trail make up, fitting dates, photoshoot dates, all my gowns (wedding and ROM).... etc, are all settled. It seems like I will b really busy next few months... Hope that I have time to catch my breath and my school wont blame me for not able to commit to my work.

Attended dear's another friend, Lionel & Yuling's Wedding Banquet, held @ Pan Pacific Hotel on 22nd Dec Sat. They had 66 tables.. Wow... a v long ballroom. cant see the stage and the couples most of the time (except for the projection on the screens). The food was really nice, all good quality, such as lobster salad instead of the usual 拼盘, 2 kinds of vegetables with sliced abalone (big ones).... Cant imagine how much does each table cost.

Edwin & Anlinna Wedding 9th Dec 2007

Another friend of SK got married on Sunday. It's also Sk's 2nd time being a brother....

It was pouring heavily tat day and getting to the place by mrt was impossible. In the end, took cab to Sheraton Towers Hotel.

(side-track abit: the cab fare has increased! So bloody expensive! I wont want to take cab unless there is no choice. Who's willing to drive me to work? Hee...)

Also a simple event with no table by table photography unless upon request.

I guess every couple jus wan everything to run smoothly so make it as simple as possible. But for me, I wan it run smoothly but also as different frm others if possible. Just pray hard then.

Anyway, din take much pics cos I jus cut my hair. Dun like it at all. So ugly and nerdy....

ET & Chris' wedding 24th November 2007

Haven been doing anything for our wedding prep as SK was in Seattle for a week. We attended SK's uni friend, ET & Chris' wedding on last Saturday @ Intercontinental immediately aft he reached SIN. Nice ballroom and the food was not too bad too.

A very simple event though it's SK's 1st time being a brother and witnessing how the customary ceremony is like.

Shall not say too much, jus take a look at the pics.

Hope ours will go on smoothly like ET & Chris'.

Went to Style Weddings Glamour Bash 2007 this afternoon. It was at Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa. It was a nice resort.. the high-tea food was quite delicious. But having solemnization there is super ex ($1388++) though it would be wonderful to have your solemnization in a all glass pavillion. So we dropped this idea and decided to have ours either in StarDus or at chalet... Anyone who has experience your solemnization @ StarDus, care to share them with us?

There were also lots of bridal shops booth and photography booths @ the bash. As u all know, we have chosen our bridal shop so there's nothing much we can do except to see their exhibitions of gowns.

Anyway, took many videos of the gowns exhibited. So go see my multiply for these videos if you are going to choose your bridal shop.

However, out motives of going there is to hope to win in the lucky draw and check out the photography companies avaliable.

Daniel Ong and Jamie Teo were the hosts and Daniel Ong was damn funny.. To think that they are a couple but thruout the whole event, Jamie Teo din speak much.. Oh, and they said they are planning to get married soon.

Anyway, toking abt the lucky draw, I mus tell u the winner couple is really super heng... The person drew two possible winners but they were not present in the ballroom, so he drew the third one and the winner couple is my cousin and her bubby-to-be... They won a dream bridal wardrobe worth $15000 (a gown from Frederick Lee, men suit from Kingsmen and Lee Hwa Jewellery). I really envy my cousin... I guess they are really v lucky... Oh, they are going to have their wedding on next yr xmas.. Wow.... If only I am half as lucky as her...

Ok, enuff of envying others... Need help from u guys... We saw a few photography companies today. We would like to know which is good and cheap.... Help..

Oh, updates on my new hse...

My blk is the slowest (on the left).. Haven even build to the 2nd storey..

And there will b a pri sch (the one behind the trees) opp. It's Endeavour Primary School. Mayb I can considered transferring to ther so can jus cross the road to sch everyday... Hee...

Saw the gowns I tried at my bridal studio on the latest style wedding magazines...

This is the one that my frends said I looked nice in but I feel it's too plain and it looks similar to the one my frend tried.

This looks the same as the one I have reserved, except for the flowers on top, it's crystals on the one I like.

Tried this too. Looked nice in the mag but dun look nice on me..

So what do u think?

Help... Any nice restaurant to recommend?

Hey pple, do you know of anywhere that serves nice food? We are thinking of where to eat (lunch/high tea) aft our soleminzation in Feb next year.... Help....

Wedding Blog....

Jus went to bridal shop today to try on some gowns... The gowns all look the same to me... Friends like Mandy, Kate, Jane and Roy gave some comments and finally decided to reserve one. Hope there are better ones when we go back in Dec. Too bad cant take pics. Mayb if I can find any similar ones online then show u all...

Anyway, decided to start a wedding blog to pen down the process of my wedding preparations, jus in case one day, I lost my memory.. Haha...

15th June 2007: official proposal & got my second diamond ring

23rd April 2007: Booked wedding banquet in Holiday Inn Park View for 15th June 2008 (Customary on 14th June and ROM on 28th February)



19th May 2007: Signed a 3k bridal package @ Seletar Broadway Studio (quite comprehensive and reasonable priced)

31st June 2007: Bought our wedding brands @ Soo Kee Jewellery (collected on 9th Sept)

Today (14th October): Tried some gowns...

Tried a similar gown but dun have the collar.

My friends said I looked nice in that but I feel it looked similar to Shirley's gown.

Like this kind of cutting but the person at the bridal shop said it's out of fashion. Haha...Had a similar one @ Seletar Broadway Studio

but there are purples flowers on the skirt so looked abit weird...Dear said such design looked elegant

but my frends said I looked jus like a normal bride.

What do you think? Couldnt find the one I reserved online though.

I guess tat's for all now. Will update frequently...
